These are a few photos from last weekend, I hope you enjoy them! Kirsten, Dawn and I took a round bale over to the rescue’s other property near dusk. The horses came galloping down to greet us, but then most passed by us and instead headed down to the waterhole. There was no wind, the water in the pond was completely at a stand still and the lighting was perfect for horse photos.
Note: With the exception of one of the black and white paints, all of the rescued horses in these photos are available for adoption through Never-E-Nuff Acres. If you like these photos, please help spread the word about these horses by sharing this page or sharing the rescue’s web address. They are all waiting for their future owners to fall in love with them!
Absolutely wonderful photos……..they deserve great forever homes.
btw,I’m really enjoying your site, it’s informative and fun. Keep up the good work.
Beautiful photos – love the light and the reflections!
I love the one of the bald face paint standing facing right while the other paint is drinking. There are some ripples on the water that are framing his face in the reflection. All of the photos are stunning, but I think that one is my favorite. Actually, I think I have a couple of favorites.
I hope that you have them in high enough resolution that maybe you can enter them in a contest or something.
Gorgeous photos, lovely ponies. <3
lovely!
Wow, great photos Mary! The paints’ reflections really pop off the water.
Wow, Mary, these are spectacular!
You have some beautiful photos there – gorgeous horses. Sunset is the best time to take photos because the light is so golden.
