Karen Pryor Clicker Training has recently opened the registration for ClickerExpo 2013 and released the schedule of speakers and topics. The schedule looks really exciting. Not only does it look like there are lots of cool new talks, but this is also the 10th anniversary for ClickerExpo, so it’s a big year!
As always, there are two Expos, one in January (in San Francisco) and the other in March (in Connecticut). I haven’t decided yet which one to go to. I’ve never been to San Francisco, so that sounds like a lot of fun, but the March one is near my spring break, so it’s probably a bit more convenient.
Are you planning to go to ClickerExpo? If so, let me know, I’d love to meet you! Although I love going to the lectures and labs, one of my favorite parts about ClickerExpo is getting to meet positive animal trainers from all over the world.
Also, if you’re going for the first time, it can be a bit overwhelming since there are SO many talks to choose from. At least, that’s how I felt the first year I went. I’m happy to give recommendations if you are having trouble picking which talks to go to, I helped a few friends with that last year.
If you’re not sure about whether or not to go to ClickerExpo, I encourage you to check out my post 10 reasons why you need to go to ClickerExpo. I also have notes on my blog from a talk by Michele Pouliot that I attended at a past expo, if you want to learn more about what’s covered in some of the lectures.
So, head on over to the ClickerExpo website and check it out!
