Rescued Horse stars in Old Spice Commercial Spoof

All right, you’ve probably seen the Old Spice commerical that ends with actor Isaiah Mustafa on a horse. (If not, you can watch the Old Spice commercial HERE).

Some friends of the rescue I work with wanted to make a spoof of this commercial to help promote a blues dance event that is happening in Dallas this fall. However, they needed a big white horse!

Luckily, the rescue has Rohan, a big white appaloosa Percheron cross. He is a gentle giant and has the perfect disposition to be an equine movie star. Check out the video clip below, it is awesome and stays quite true to the original Old Spice commercial.

Rohan was rescued as a PMU foal in 2004, by Dawn, who founded and runs Never-E-Nuff acres. He is Dawn’s personal horse and the rescue’s mascot. You can see all of the horses currently available for adoption HERE.

Thank you for leaving the comment on getting reimbursed for gelding. That would be so fantastic. I’ll definitely check into it. 🙂

BTW, Damon Stone is one of the most respected Blues historians and dancer/instructors in the US. Damon did not know much about horses, but Rohan’s steady nature made him feel right at home up there!
