Stale Cheerios: Best of 2010

It’s late January, but I still wanted to put together a short Best of 2010 list. This post features the 10 best posts of last year. I picked most of the posts on this list because of the number of hits and comments they received–I know you all really enjoyed reading them. They are also some of my favorite posts and I really had fun writing some of these.

If you’re a new reader, check out some of these older posts! I hope you’ll find the information, pictures and videos in them to be interesting and informative.

Thanks for your comment on my blog (A Work In Progress…)! I’ve been perusing your site, you have tons of good information. As you read on Kate’s blog, I have an uppity pony mare (technically she’s a mini horse) who I think would benefit from clicker training. She was a “bargain” Craigslist purchase and not very well trained. I want to reform her into a lead line pony for my kids as well as something they can learn basic horsemanship skills from. I’ll certainly be blogging about her when I get started, just waiting for this weather to warm up!

I did my MS in Behavior as well! Technically, Neuroethology, but I usually just say Behavior because nobody knows what the other is *LOL*. I spent many years as the Director of Lab Animal Services for a university, which I loved. I always try to educate people on the reality of Animal Research, there are so many misconceptions out there. People are shocked to learn that our lab rats were better cared for than their own pets!
