Friday Fun: Salty the Shetland Sheep

Happy Friday! I hope you’ve been enjoying the notes that I have been posting from ORCA’s recent Art and Science of Animal Training Conference. I have one talk left to post — notes from Steve White’s talk. If you’ve missed any of them, my notes from this year’s conference (as well as from past conferences) are all available on my Conference and Clinics Notes page.

Now, since it’s Friday, here’s a fun little video that my friend Brenda sent me this past week. Salty the sheep is fairly new to clicker training, this is only her fourth session. Still, she is doing great learning how to target a BIG ball with her front foot.

I bet she’ll be ready for the local soccer team in no time at all!
